Do I have to connect Whiz to the Robot Operations Center (ROC) in order to run a route?

Whiz routes are recalled from the Home Location Code, and the ROC is not needed to start a route. However, if Whiz is disconnected from the ROC, alerts will not be sent via text message or to the Notification Pager. Data that Whiz collects will also not be transmitted until the next time Whiz is connected to the ROC.
